The spread of COVID-19 resulted in serious disruptions to the economic activity of Estonian companies. In order to mitigate these effects, we offered different crisis measures aimed at assisting sustainable Estonian companies.
Completed measures
Provision of the service has been ended since 31 December 2020.
The purpose of the extraordinary loan was to enable new turnover and investment loans to undertakings to overcome the temporary difficulties caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.
Loan applications were accepted until 30 November 2021.
The intended purpose of the working capital loan was to finance working capital needed to overcome the temporary difficulties of an undertaking caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.
Provision of the service has been ended since 31 December 2020.
The intended purpose of the investment loan was to finance investments in fixed assets, to overcome the temporary difficulties of an entrepreneur caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.

The purpose of the guarantee was to enable new financing for projects of national importance, to overcome the temporary difficulties caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The guarantee enabled one to secure the obligations of an enterprise arising from loan and leasing contracts.
Guarantee applications were accepted until 30.11.2021.
The purpose of the extraordinary proportional small loan guarantee was to enable new financing for enterprises to overcome the temporary difficulties caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The guarantee enabled one to secure the obligations of an enterprise arising from loan and leasing contracts.
Guarantee applications were accepted until 31.05.2022.
The purpose of the guarantee was to enable new financing for enterprises operating in the accommodation and catering sector, travel agencies and tour operators to overcome the temporary difficulties caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Proportional guarantee applications were accepted until 31 May 2022.
Fixed guarantee applications were accepted until 30 November 2021.
The extraordinary guarantee enabled existing loans to have a longer than normal grace period (at least 6 months) and an extension of the maturity to provide liquidity to overcome the temporary difficulties caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The guarantee enabled one to secure the obligations of an enterprise arising from loan and leasing contracts.
