Finished grants

According to the Regulation, applications for the grant could be submitted until 30 April 2018. Supported activities had to be completed or accepted by the beneficiary by 1 November 2018 at the latest.

For three consecutive years after the disbursement of the grant, the beneficiary is required to submit, by 31 January of each calendar year, data on the renewable energy consumption of the heating installation for the previous year, using the form approved by KredEx.

In the case of a heat pump, the amount of electricity consumed by the heat pump during the year must be reported. For the beneficiary to be able to provide the data, it must be possible to measure the electricity consumed by the heat pump by a separate meter.

In the case of a pellet boiler, the annual quantity of pellets in kilograms, and in the case of a firewood boiler or heater, the annual quantity of firewood in stacked cubic metres must be provided.

The private home renovation grant has not been available since September 2012 due to the exhaustion of the earmarked funds.

Reporting

A beneficiary who received the private home renovation grant is required to submit as a report to KredEx the energy performance certificate of the private home which has been drawn up on the basis of consumption data for the year following the renovation within 12–18 months after the implementation of the project. The beneficiary should submit the energy performance certificate to KredEx or to the person authorised by KredEx either electronically with a digital signature or on paper with a handwritten signature.

In the case that only renewable energy production equipment has been installed in the private home, the beneficiary is required to provide KredEx with annual energy production data for the renewable energy equipment measured in each of the five years following the disbursement of the grant. The reporting obligation starts from the year following receipt of the grant. The report has to be submitted by 1 March of each subsequent year. The beneficiary should submit the energy production data for the renewable energy equipment to KredEx or to the person authorised by KredEx either electronically with a digital signature or on paper with a handwritten signature.

Obligations

A beneficiary is required to:

  • ensure the preservation and purposeful use of the assets relevant to the objective of the measure for at least five years after the end of the period of eligibility of the project;
  • insure the private home for at least five years after receiving the grant;
  • preserve the documentation related to the application, grant and implementation of the project at least until 31 December 2020.

Consumption data for 2016

Anyone who has used a renovation loan to renovate an apartment building is required to submit an energy consumption report for 2016 by 15 February 2017.

Obligations

Obligations of a borrower after entering into the agreement:

  • to submit an energy consumption report for the previous calendar year by 15 February each year, using the relevant form, during the entire loan period, but not less than for 10 years;
  • to allow KredEx to check the performance of the loan agreement on the spot;
  • to maintain the documentation related to the loan until the expiry of the loan agreement, but at least until 31 December 2025;
  • to present, in a common area of the apartment building, information on the participation of the ERDF in supporting the renovation works;
  • maintain the validity of the insurance agreement for the building (incl. paying insurance premiums in a timely manner) until the expiry of the loan agreement.


The programme of renovation loans for apartment buildings is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Anyone who has received a renovation grant during the period 2010-2014 is required to submit an energy consumption report for the previous year by 20 January each year.

Apartment buildings that have received a decision on the renovation grant

 

The energy audit and building design documentation grant is not available since 1 September 2013 due to the exhaustion of the earmarked funds.

Reporting

All apartment buildings that have received an energy audit, building design documentation or building expert assessment grant are required to annually submit a report on the energy consumption of the apartment building for the preceding calendar year.

The reporting obligation starts from the year following receipt of the grant and the reporting period lasts for 3 years. The report has to be submitted by 20 January of each subsequent year.
