Working in KredEx
KredEx was founded in 2001 through a merger between three credit and guarantee foundations – the Export Credit and Guarantee Foundation, Ettevõtluse Krediteerimise Sihtasutus (the Enterprise Credit Foundation) and Sihtasutus Eesti Eluase (the Estonian Housing Foundation).
In 2016, the six-member team of Startup Estonia, which had operated at the Estonian Development Fund, joined us as well.
In 2017, we became the parent company of SmartCap.
The KredEx affiliate AS KredEx Krediidikindlustus (KredEx Credit Insurance) was established in late 2009. We share an office with Krediidikindlustus and work as a single team.

The basis for KredEx’s success is its loyal and dedicated employees that embody our common values. Our 42-member team is stable: sixteen of our members have worked for KredEx for over 10 years. Our average age is 42. Employee satisfaction surveys confirm that the most important motivators for working at KredEx are good relationships in our team, remuneration and interesting, varied work.
