Working in KredEx
KredEx was founded in 2001 through a merger between three credit and guarantee foundations – the Export Credit and Guarantee Foundation, Ettevõtluse Krediteerimise Sihtasutus (the Enterprise Credit Foundation) and Sihtasutus Eesti Eluase (the Estonian Housing Foundation).
In 2016, the six-member team of Startup Estonia, which had operated at the Estonian Development Fund, joined us as well.
In 2017, we became the parent company of SmartCap.
The KredEx affiliate AS KredEx Krediidikindlustus (KredEx Credit Insurance) was established in late 2009. We share an office with Krediidikindlustus and work as a single team.
- Statesmanship – we operate pursuant to the common interests of Estonian inhabitants; we are respectful, honest, open and trustworthy
- Ambition – we value and encourage the constant targeted development and drive in the implementation of worthwhile ideas of the members of our team and the organisation; we are open to new ideas and cooperation
- Teamwork – we act together, respecting, encouraging and supporting our colleagues and partners
The basis for KredEx’s success is its loyal and dedicated employees that embody our common values. Our 52-member team is stable: seventeen of our members have worked for KredEx for over 10 years. Our average age is 42. Employee satisfaction surveys confirm that the most important motivators for working at KredEx are good relationships in our team, remuneration and interesting, varied work.
We value long-term employment relations that help us to ensure customer satisfaction, achieving the goals of the company and the continuity of the organization. When filling vacancies on our workforce, we consider it important to consider our employees’ career goals.
We support our team’s professional and personal development through multi-faceted training courses and the possibility of international communication and exchange of experiences with organizations from other countries. We provide our employees with healthful working conditions geared towards maximizing their performance, and pay salaries that are competitive in the financial sector and correspond to the positions and employees’ contributions.
Alongside professional contribution, we consider the team’s cohesive traditions to be important. Our traditions include company events each winter and summer, a Christmas party for employees’ children and a year’s-end event to which family members are invited as well.
