EUR 53 million invested by undertakings with the help of KredEx guarantees

In the first six months of the current year, KredEx provided sureties for the financial obligations of 187 enterprises in the total sum of EUR 30 million. Support from KredEx enabled companies to attract additional financing of EUR 52.7 million from banks. A total of 160 new jobs will be created as a result of the projects that were financed.

KredEx guarantees were used most for overdrafts and turnover loans (48% of the issued volume), followed by investment loans and leases (37%), and bank guarantees (15%).

By areas, the KredEx guarantee was used the most by enterprises in the areas of construction (18%), information and communications (9%), wholesale and retail (9%), metal industry (7%), transportation and storage (7%), administration and support (6%), and food products, beverages and tobacco (6%). The share of other areas of activity remained below 5%. The proportion of enterprises in the processing industry amounted to 32%.

Since 2001, KredEx has provided guarantees for the financial obligations of 3102 enterprises in the total amount of EUR 505 million, making it possible for companies to receive co-financing from banks totalling EUR 983 million. As a result of the projects that have received financing, around 11,800 new jobs have been created.
